Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of WedSeat ("the Service"), a wedding seating planning tool operated by WedSeat ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing access or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
WedSeat helps you plan the seating for a single wedding. This includes managing your guest list, collecting dietary information from guests, arranging table plans and generating print-ready PDFs and a digital find-your-seat portal. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use in connection with your own wedding.
3. Payment and access
WedSeat is free to use for weddings with up to 30 guests, with every feature included. If you need more than 30 guests, a single one-time payment of $49 unlocks unlimited guests for that wedding. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; there is no subscription and no recurring charge. Once paid, your planner remains available to you.
4. Refunds
If you are not happy with the Service, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund your payment in full, provided you have not yet downloaded print-ready materials. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. This does not affect your statutory rights.
5. Your content and your guests' data
You are responsible for the information you add to the Service, including guest names, contact details and dietary requirements. You confirm you have your guests' permission to share their details with us for the purposes of planning your wedding. Guest dietary information is collected directly by your guests through the private guest portal and is visible only to you. We do not sell or share this data with anyone other than as needed to operate the Service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access other users' data, reselling access, using the guest portals to send unlawful content, or interfering with the operation of the Service. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update or improve the Service from time to time. We will give reasonable notice of any change that materially reduces the features you have paid for.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided to help with wedding planning. While we take care to keep it accurate and reliable, you remain responsible for checking your final seating plan, dietary information and printed materials before your wedding day. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
9. Third-party services
Payments are handled by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. We never see or store your full card details.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
